Factory Reset
Factory Reset starts with a setup you can picture instantly: you bought a wiped laptop for ninety dollars, and the person on the other end of a chat window is convinced you’re the woman who disappeared with it. From there, it’s yours to work out, screen by screen, exactly like the machine in front of you.
It’s built to look and behave like a real, slightly broken laptop display, right down to a warning that some windows will overlap if your screen’s too narrow. That’s not a bug I left in. It’s part of the unease.
I like games that trust the player to pay attention instead of explaining everything up front. This one asks you to notice things.
