Jungleworld Amusement Park

JungleWorld is an amusement park on a tropical island, and it runs in your browser.

Pull back and you get the whole place from above: winding walkways, wildlife habitats, shops, food stands, water features, lights strung over the paths, and the coastline wrapping around all of it. Drop in at ground level and you’re walking the park alongside the guests.

Eight attractions, all animated. Jungle Comet is the coaster, a figure-eight with long hills, sweeping turns, and an elevated crossover that puts the track over your head. Crocodile Falls is the log flume, a river course with wide bends, a conveyor lift, waterfalls, and a fast drop at the end. Then there’s the Canopy Wheel, the Savanna Carousel, the Baobab Drop, Treetop Twirl, River Raider, and Rhino Rally bumper cars.

You can watch any of them from the outside. You can also ride them. Onboard camera, free look in every direction, nothing blocking the view.

The rides move the way rides actually move. Vehicles crawl up the lifts, pick up speed going down, bleed momentum on the climbs, and roll through the flat stretches at a steady clip. The Baobab Drop takes its time going up, hangs at the top a second longer than you want it to, falls, and bounces on the brakes.

A good chunk of the build was layout. Sidewalks stop outside the safety zones. Plants stay off the paths and the track. Benches, lamps, fences, and entrances sit where they belong instead of in the middle of a walkway. Controls work on a phone and on a desktop. Day turns to night, the park makes noise, and things move in the background whether or not you’re looking at them.

That’s the difference between a 3D model of a theme park and a theme park.
