Puptown Idle
This one started at dinner. My fiancee Erin and I play the New York Times daily games most nights, and at some point the conversation turned from playing them to wondering whether I could build one myself. I don’t know how to code. I’ve never needed to, not with the AI coding tools available now, and Puptown Idle was the proof.
It’s a cozy idle game. A meadow full of pixel pups earn experience, graduate, and grow while you go about your actual day, and you check in when you feel like it rather than when the game demands it. No timers pushing you back in, no guilt for closing the tab.
It was the first thing I directed into existence instead of coded, and it won’t be the last. PoundBreak came right after it.
